Here's some helpful information about the scarlet sage seeds you've received:
USDA Zones: 6-9
Bloom Color: Red
Height: 24 - 36 inches
Bloom Season: Summer - fall
Benefit from being started indoors, but grow fairly reliably if sown outdoors in warm soil where summers are hot. Plant outdoors in spring after frost danger and prepare soil by weeding it and loosening. Lightly rake into soil and keep seeds and seedlings moist until well-established. If you want an early jump start, indoors 10 weeks before last frost. Sow in starter trays, press seed into soil and barely cover. Needs light to germinate. When frost season has passed, transplant seedlings into garden 12 - 18 inches apart in a sunny location. Give them plenty of water in dry weather.
